I have been seeing Mikka for about five years now. My sessions with her vary from very silent, intense bodywork to open dialogue about what is going on in my life. I have told Mikka things I have not said to anyone else, and she has helped me see where I am coming from and how my thoughts, actions, and physical state all are one. I have had chronic knee pain for many years and Mikka has always been able to help with my condition. Sometimes I give her an “inventory” of what hurts, then she touches another place and I realize I had not told her about that ache or strain, but she zooms in on it with a laser-guided intuition. Mikka continues to evolve and shares her new knowledge with me as she explores new aspects of life and healing. I would recommend her to anyone who seriously wants to address their body/spirit and is willing to enter a native bodywork sanctuary guided by Mikka’s skills and expertise.

I came to you after my mother passed on and you have helped me to access the pain that had lived deep in my body. I had spent many years in “talk” therapy and while that was beneficial in helping me to understand the issues it was mental. You have through your bodywork reached the places that the pain and sadness have lived in my body. I am most grateful to you for not only helping me release the pain, anger and sadness but also for helping change my perspective on who I am. Thank you.
